To be through with wc3 validation you should take care of following points :-

W3c validator don't accept this

2) Hacks for legacy browsers.

3) Follow browser-specific rules for mozilla, IE etc..

4) Using embedded tags in your coding

5) Un-escaped JavaScript in XHTML docs.
