I guess it depends on the PPC advertising model you choose or on the Google Adwords.

It depends on traffic your site is getting mainly...also it depends on other stuff as well, but those other stuff are things we dont know and google has kept secret for some reason.

Different keyword pays different if you are in entertainment niche you earn in penny but if you are finance sector or sectors like web hosting or domain your will get much higher rates but remember the more money you get for a keyword the more competition you have to face.
