Main thing is the selection of the correct keyword.So it must be selected carefully and other is the deciding the budget for each keyword.

Primary factor is the choice of the appropriate search term.So it must be chosen properly and other is the determining the funds for each search term.

i usually experiment with multiple keywords and those keywords which are driving me more conversion i bid on them.
