Google and Facebook are major advertising channels with massive audience. Both are paid and not too much difference in cost and their algorithm smart to understand of your products and services. So both will show your ads to the right people at the right place. Facebook sessions usually tend to last much longer than a normal Google search session, which would make Facebook preferred for building brand awareness or sending a specific message.

Still many people says that Google is the better choice for display advertising because it has superior CPC performance, improved ad targeting options, Ideally, it's best to try both and discover which fits best with your brand.
