Generally, the formats used for website graphics are either JPG or GIF, as they load quicker than most others. The JPG format is mainly used for photographs and the GIF format is mainly used for buttons, logos or menu bars. Can you tell me more about GIF format ?Can i use it for making interesting pictures?Your view?

JPG images supports 16 million colors so this format is best suited for photographs and complex graphics, Game screenshots but it is bad for line art and text and comic strips. GIF supports only 256 colors and its good where animations are required.

JPG pictures can handle 16 million colours so this structure is most effective for pictures and complicated design, Game screenshots but it is bad for line art and text and math comedian pieces. GIF can handle only 256 colours and its good where animated design are required.
